Paris Fashion Week Summer 2017

Keeping an eye on everything that happened in Paris FW Summer 2017, separated the brands and trends that most caught my attention on the runway and that will be a trend at the next station

The last fashion week in 2016 finished with a flourish. After our every aspect of New York FW and what happened to best in fashion weeks in London and, the following week in Milan we elect our main bets that passed through the French catwalks.

Are you curious to check out the highlights from the Paris FW? Take a look!

Olivier Theyskens
After years away from the fashion weeks, the designer Olivier Theyskens did not disappoint. “It’s nice to be able to think about my girls again. I want to make a good impression, but I want to be modest and not trying to be a great brand, “said Olivier Vogue US little before submitting your collection summer 2017. Most notably, many pieces in shades of black, white and red and cocktail dresses modern and well laid back.

Jacquemus
The parade of Simon Porte Jacquemus was marked by many bufantes sleeves. Very romantic and symmetrical, the brand introduced in this Paris FW a tailoring more built and delicate, without that deconstruction well marked which we are accustomed. The inspiration was a peasant of paddy field, as well as the clay dolls. Different, huh?

Yves Sant Laurent
The YSL show marked the debut of designer Anthony Vaccarello front to the brand. The result? Many references to the ‘ 80 with bulky shoulders, necklines, fabrics and extravagant, moorings mainly leather. To follow all the collection, it was impossible not to think of rock ‘n’ roll, right? Full parts, combined with jeans and boots without heel gave the look a mocking air and full of personality.

Courrèges

To make nice in this edition of Paris FW, Courrèges opted to keep the DNA of the brand with your classic jacket, but gave a current touch with different finishes, combined with mostly drained high waist pants, look that can be used at any time of the day. Many tops and plastic dresses through the catwalk to complete this contemporary collection and fully commercial.arquivo_000

Maison Margiela
Sports footprint was the big bet of the brand Maison Margiela next summer. The highlight is the accessories, the huge variation of belts, different readings of visors, as well as backpacks and even mattress to do yoga. More versatile and athletic than that, impossible!

Lanvin
Bouchra Jarrarestreia lived up to the reputation of Haute Couture by presenting the Lanvin tailoring pieces with very bright, doing different mixtures and walking feminine and masculine parts with a lot of lightness and creativity. Definitely a parade to stay in memory.

Dries Van Noten
The Belgian designer chose a more contained for the Paris FW Summer 2017. The tones on black or yellow, in addition to rich jacquards gave life to parts flowing floral like parkas and jeans, classic street style.

Rocks
Alessandro Dell’Acqua’s message in front of the Rocks is very simple: a vintage collection, without too many details, but full of color are the dresses of tulle ruffles, the drained and poles glued to the body and the pantacourts that are the woman in the Rocks look chic and very modern.

Vionnet
The team of designers of Vionnet nailed to transform the traditional and delicate pleats in fabric pieces to contemporary there, giving new life and a current face to good old denim.

Chloé
Youthfulness and freshness commanded the Chloe show on the third day of the Paris FW. Huge ties at the shoulders, a lot of ruffles, Ruffles, jumpsuits and little monkeys and looks that mixed with floral lace through the catwalk with grace and femininity. Highlight for the dresses super dug, used with regatinhas. Loved it!

Fenty x Puma
The second collection of Rihanna to Rihanna x Puma overflowed romanticism. In the palette, pretty rosé quartz and military green. The collection presented fluid parts and accessories marked as caved chokers and piercings of pearls. And how about the maxi purses of giant ties in the back and the fans with brand logo? Is to keep an eye!

Manish Arora
Manish Arora bet on disk footprint with many colorful patterns, references “rockabilly” and fun prints for summer 2017. Collection more lively, impossible!

Paco Rabanne
The Paco Rabanne collection won new ares this season. With strong influence of rap and street style, a lot of pants with waist foundered (leaving apparent false panties) and shirts “ripped” passed through the catwalk in futuristic prints and even raincoats made into dresses. Very cool!

Balmain
I couldn’t take my eyes off the parade of Balmain. The collection, almost all based in python (both in prints, as in very very colorful leathers) showed ultradecotados dresses and full of newspaper clippings, pantaloons that open as skirts, hollow tricôs, silk kimonos and much more, all in wild style. I was delighted with the trenchs of chamois and Crystal embroidery. Beauty in detail.

Isabel Marant
Isabel Marant is known for its old and many sparkles. In this edition of Paris FW, the designer still entered the floral print in parts with well marked waistlines and shirts with long sleeves generous. Super trend!

Loewe
The Loewe opened the fourth day of fashion shows of Paris FW with a collection unlike anything you’ve ever seen! Fabrics, linens and cottons have appeared in modern versions of corsets with basques and blouses and skirts that bet on lint loose well at shows. The booties with barrel skin color and the bracelets on their ankles gave the final touch!

Christian Dior
Support the feminist movement was the inspiration of Maria Grazia Chiuri to your collection in the face of Dior. The designer had the romanticism and dreamer of the woman to show her dresses fluids and the striking contrasts of black and white and heavy fabrics and airy. Applause for the accessories that they brought in weight the brand and its striking phrases such as “J’Adore”.

Hussein Chalayan
The designer is famous for taking controversial questions to the catwalk. Constant fear of violence, lack of contact with nature, emotions increasingly closed were some of the subjects covered in this collection that expressed the feelings of Chalayan through much tailoring light, deconstructed and well – aside from the commercial looks inflated that ended the presentation of outstanding form.

Haider Ackermann
Only Haider Ackermann to be able to use the lame one way unusual and very modern! A footprint more sport chic, designer abused of jackets, tops with tails fluttering silk, leather pants in three shades and many draped metallic, including suits, dresses and blouses bufantes sleeves.

Mugler
Water sports were the inspiration of David Koma for the collection in front of Mugler in this Paris FW. The clippings athletic, necklines and wetsuits, mixed with leather and sequins created a beautiful effect in their dresses with super bulky shoulders and blazers through. I loved the tight black and white version of the traditional tuxedos and sequins in silver fluid dresses with slits in zipper. All very elegant and very bright!

Elie Saab
Many colorful stars of various sizes at sequin embroidered on leather and tulle sleeved blazers put ham, lurex chalk stripes and lamês. In the biggest space-style disco, Elie Saab bet on thick belts with Golden plates, in bland metallic, draping us very short and still took advantage of the event to cast your line. All beautiful!

Vivienne Westwood
The designer was more of a stake in the format “see now, buy now, right after the parade of the brand that bears your name. The collection-2020 account capsule pieces on the runway in Paris today and include the dresses and jackets that were the biggest highlights of the season.

Nina Ricci
The designer Nina Ricci was inspired by the colors of the sunset from Latin America to your collection Summer 2017. Silk acted as absolute protagonist, especially in shirts with collar maxi, striped jumpsuits or ounces, bland and blazers caved and sweaters. As highlighted, choose high-waisted pants, oversized suits and wet and long dresses embroidered velvets of crystals and sequins.

Maison Rabih Kayrouz
A group of Opéra National de Paris Ballet danced and paraded with fringe dresses, tops shoulder to shoulder, pants and oversized overalls and fun prints and let the spectators of the parade of Maison Rabih Kayrouz drooling. Different from that seen in other years, the Lebanese Designer left the muted colors of hand and bet strong in yellow and purple. Loved it!

Valentino
A lot of different thing happened at Valentino’s show in this edition of Paris FW. How not to comment about the three-dimensional pullovers worn with vestid천es on line embroidery and flat sandals? Highlights also include the jackets without buttons and embroidery detail-filled, and the microbolsinha (a lockable with mirror and lipstick) used with long dresses. Beautiful trend that promises to catch!

John Galliano
The designer sought inspiration in the girl who turn old chests and find precious parts of other eras. Therefore, the strong presence of transparencies on lingerie, slip dresses and tailoring combined with “rags” of tulle and wider pants in this collection Summer 2017.

Givenchy
The geometric prints, terrorosos tones and the long chain necklaces were rescued from the ‘ 70 by fashion designer Riccardo Tisci front of Givenchy. Worth keep an eye also on the tailors with maxibolsos and zippers, in addition to the shapes more justinhos and glued to the body.

Stella McCartney
Once again the parade of Stella McCartney joined luxury and relaxation, features admired by the designer in his later parades. In this collection, Stella backed the sportwear ecologically correct, especially your pants baggy.

Giambattista Valli
The long and short dresses of Giambattista Valli had an inspiration: the lingerie! Having the seek focused, many Bras exposed passed in embroidered pieces and fluttering. Wonderful!

Hermès
In your collection for Hermès, Nadêge Vanhee-Cybulski joined the classic brand as the nanobolsinhas, Birkin, Kelly and Constance, with metal chains and the iconic “Cleopatra’s Eye”. In looks, many jumpsuits and parkas of crepe linen embroidered with zippers, plus coats-kimono, high waist pants and tunics with leather fringe. A collection of great delicacy and good taste.

Sonia Rykiel
The summer of 2017 Sonia Rykiel comes stuffed with oversizedpieces. Worth keeping an eye on dresses and in the years 70-inspired gowns.

Alexander McQueen
Three great moments shared the Alexander McQueen fashion show: tailoring, knitting and night, all of them well adorned with metals and floral embroidery. The thick leather belts arremataram the looks inspired by the Shetland Islands, Scotland.

Emporium Armani
Smart Armani’s decision to change your parade from Milan to Paris FW, since as soon as the brand took the opportunity to celebrate the opening of the new store in the city. The highlight of the collection were the purses, which appeared on skirts, dresses and even pants.

Chanel
Our addiction to technology was the theme chosen by Chanel as inspiration. For this, many lingerie appeared in different versions (slip dresses, pegnoirs, skirts with front slits, casaquetos, delicate lace …) in a harmonious play of materials and textures. Karl Lagerfeld also in tailleurs rounded iridescent, dressed in colorful prints and blazers reversed (with buttons and strappy back) to remember the signs of a computer. All a lot of fun! As trends, it is worth noting also: colored hair elastics, earring to one ear only, and handbags with cross currents.

Kenzo
Once again the ‘ 70 served as reference for fashion designers. This time it was the duo Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, who backed the iconic Studio 54 to create the 2017 summer collection from Kenzo.

Louis Vuitton
Impossible to take your eyes off the parade of Louis Vuitton. With great brightness and lame, the designer Nicolas Ghesquière liked to bet on transparencies on dresses and shirt and pants sets caved. With trendy Parisian influence and once again in 70 years, the brand introduced your classic gray suit now reinvented, in addition to tailoring and dresses more fluids.

Moncler Gamme Rouge
Giambattista Valli nailed it when merging the navy with a footprint more sci-fi to your line Gamme Rouge of Moncler. I loved the looks inspired by the uniforms of toy soldiers. A free!

Miu Miu
The label opened your parade with a whole line inspired by the retro swimmers. There, the result couldn’t have been more beautiful: many bikinis, pasties are loose, tailleurs, skirts and jackets to towels printed PVC cover passed through the runway. Then the collection tailoring, which did not disappoint. Khaki shirts and patterned blazers drew attention by ladylikefootprint. I loved the strong presence of tissues both tied in bikinis, as on the back of dresses, skirts and even cut.

And so ends the summer fashion season 2017!
Like that Paris FW? What was your favorite parade?
